About The Course
The Certificate
of Global Ministry introduces the student to ministry outside
that normally experienced in the local church - missions,
cults, politics, ethics including business ethics, poverty, peace-making,
global conflict, and urban ministry
This certificate
is meant to be studied in a local church setting under the supervision
of your pastor or another mature Christian leader. Help with AIBI courses
can be found in the AIBI
College Handbook
You must satisfactorily
complete the assessment for all 6 subjects to receive the certificate.
Assessment for each subject is generally a 1500 word (3 page) essay which
will be marked by your pastor or group leader. See the pages relevant
to the individual subjects (right) for details.

The
Certificate of Global Ministry consists of the
following six subjects:
Missions:
An Adventure In Faith
A research-based subject. Fourteen in-depth bible studies that look
at the biblical basis of missions, using various bible characters.
Cults, Sects and Heresies
What is a cult? How do they operate? How do they recruuit? How can
we help those caught up in them?
Christian Ethics
The student tackles various readings on the topic of Christian ethics
and then formulates their own ethical standpoint.
The Spiritual Dynamics Of Global
Issues
Looks at the spiritual dynamics of the clashes between market-forces,
Christianity, Islam and terrorism.
The Bible And Politics
A review of the various kinds of political systems found in the
bible, their meaning and their effectiveness and their application
today.
Introduction To Urban Ministry
Principles of Christian ministry for those working in cities and
ministering to cities, especially in the developing world.
