The material on this website is in two main groups:
1) lecture by lecture suggested readings
2) general reference material for later browsing.
The purpose of this reference material is scholarly interaction with source
documents which are generally relevant to politics in the Philippines context.

Diversity of Views
The material on this CD will assist the student to understand and interact with
the wide range of political views found in the modern world today. Unfortunately
some of these views are quite anti-Christian, however they are part of the history
of political thought and need to be understood - without necessarily agreeing
with their content.
Just in case you are concerned:While this course does advocate Christian involvement
in politics it does so from a perspective of non-violence and self-mastery and
of general respect for the proper processes of law. It does NOT advocate "liberation
theology", Marxism, or violent revolution of any sort or give any support
for terrorist activities.
